Riverhead man gets 20 years in fatal diner stabbing

A Riverhead man was sentenced to 20 years behind bars today for fatally stabbing a man outside a Hamptons diner last year.

Jermaine Holmes pleaded guilty to stabbing Calvin Butts during a fight outside the Hampton Bays Diner during Memorial Day weekend.

Police say Butts was trying to help a friend when he was killed.
