Teen arrested in hit-and-run that injured cop

A Manhasset teen has pleaded not guilty to a slew of charges stemming from an alleged hit-and-run accident that injured a police officer yesterday.

Officer Frank Bokrosh was directing traffic at the intersection of Bayville and Ludlam avenues in Bayville yesterday. Police say 19-year-old Nadia Mansoor hit the officer, dragged him several feet and sped off. Police say her blood alcohol level was nearly twice the legal limit.

The officer suffered neck, leg and back injuries and has been released from the hospital. Mansoor is charged with DWI and leaving the scene of an accident. Police say they found a small amount of marijuana in her car.
