Wal-Mart on trial for deadly black Friday stampede

? Wal-Mart is now on trial for the deadly Black Friday stampede on Long Island.

Employee Jdimytai Damour was killed when thousands of shoppers pushed their way into a doorbuster sale at a store in Valley Stream in 2008.

Newsday says yesterday Wal-Mart went on trial before the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

The Labor Department hopes to prove the mega-store chain was not prepared to control the crowds.

Wal-Mart faces a $7,000 fine.
