Paterson: NY in danger of running out of cash

Gov. David Paterson (D-N.Y.) is warning that the state could run out of cash in just over a month. Paterson is threatening to order New York lawmakers back into a special session if they don't pass a balanced budget. Yesterday, the governor sent nearly 6,700 hand-signed vetoes back to the state Senate and Assembly. The Senate disbanded last week without a passing a tax bill needed to complete the state's $134-billion budget. The bill was passed by the Assembly.
