Family holds basketball tournament to honor fallen teen

A community came together this afternoon to honor the memory of a teen killed in a car crash three years ago.

Friends and family gathered for the annual ?Buffball? tournament, a basketball tournament created to memorialize Larry Buffalino, 19, of Westbury.

The Nassau Community College student and star athlete was killed in a single car crash in 2007.

Buffalino's family says each year the money raised is donated toward something special to honor his memory in his hometown. This year, his family says they will use the money to renovate a local basketball court to make it more player-friendly.

Buffalino's family says they're grateful to have a team of good friends to honor his memory.
