Woman accused in fake cop robberies says she's innocent

, the woman who allegedly pretended she was a cop to pull over drivers in Inwood and rob them says she is being falsely accused.

Seemona Sumasar, 35, of Far Rockaway, was arrested in May and is being held at the Nassau County Jail. She insists she is innocent and claims she was set up by a former boyfriend.

Sumasar has accused her ex-boyfriend, Jerry Ramrattan, of raping her. She says the alleged setup is an attempt to keep her from testifying. Sumasar's attorney also claims his client was seen on surveillance video at the Mohegan Sun casino in Connecticut around the time one of the two robberies was committed.

Ramrattan's lawyer has denied his client had anything to do with the charges against Sumasar.

Sumasar is due back in court next week.
