Reputed gang member gets 25 years in fatal stabbing

A suspected MS-13 gang member was sentenced today to 25 years in the stabbing death of a teenager.

Cristian Sandoval, 17, stabbed Zach Rosales last August in Westbury as the 16-year-old walked home from the movies.

Sandoval, a reputed gang member, called Rosales his "enemy" during the attack. Sandoval was convicted of manslaughter.

According to police, the victim wasn't even in a gang.

Sandoval's accomplice in the crime was sentenced to 18 years behind bars.
