Cuomo elected NY's gov., promises to clean up Albany

? Democrat Andrew Cuomo was elected as New York?s next governor last night after defeating Republican Carl Paladino.

Cuomo gave his victory speech last night while his father, former Gov. Mario Cuomo, stood near him.

Cuomo easily got more than 62 percent of the vote and defeated tea party favorite Paladino.

Cuomo promises to clean up Albany and says the voters deserve a much better government.

Cuomo also promises to control soaring taxes.
