? The case against the man accused of killing an NYPD officer from Long Island will head to a grand jury on Friday. Lamont Pride was arraigned on first-degree murder charges yesterday, and held without bail in connection with the shooting death of officer Peter Figoski. Police say Pride fatally shot Figoski in the face during a botched robbery in the Cypress Hills section of Brooklyn on Monday. Four more men were also arraigned yesterday on second-degree murder charges for their alleged connection in the case. Pride's alleged accomplices were identified as 30-year-old Kevin Santos, 27-year-old Nelson Morales, 22-year-old Ariel Tejada and 21-year-old Michael Velez.Investigators say Pride was the ?muscle? of the group who made a choice to end the decorated officer?s life. Figoski's wake will be held at the Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home in Babylon on Saturday and Sunday. The funeral will be held next Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church in Babylon.
