Shinnecock Nation to hold key vote on future casino plans

The deeply divided Shinnecock Nation is expected to hold a key vote today on the future of its casino plans.
The Shinnecocks will vote on whether to move forward with financial partner Gateway Casino Resorts.
According to Newsday, some believe the agreement with Gateway to develop casinos on Long Island favors Gateway.
The Tribal Council has called the vote to be canceled until there's independent review of the agreement, according to 27 East.
