Firefighter from Port Jefferson Station recovering from BK blaze

? A city firefighter from Port Jefferson Station is recovering from burns after battling a raging Brooklyn blaze.

Officials say James Gersbeck was one of the five firefighters hurt yesterday.

Another firefighter, Robert Weidmann, was also seriously hurt in the Crown Heights fire.

Weidmann?s clothes were on fire as he flipped himself onto the ladder during the blaze. Weidmann was patted out by a comrade.

All five injured firefighters are expected to survive.

The fire department does not believe the fire in the empty building was suspicious.
