1 dead, 1 hurt after rush hour Vets Highway crash

A Commack woman died last night after a rush hour crash on Veterans Highway.

Roseann Zarra, 67, was trying to make a left from Vets Highway onto Tern Place in Commack when her car collided with another around 5:30 p.m. The other driver, Raymond Orofino, of Lloyd Harbor, was also hurt.

So far police have not filed any charges. Police say they are still investigating.
