A Medford woman has died after being involved in a three-car accident on the Long Island Expressway in Holtsville.
The accident occurred around 1 p.m. yesterday afternoon. Officials say that Yong Soon Yim, 76, sideswiped a tractor-trailer between exits 61 and 62, causing her to lose control of her car, hitting a Mercedes head-on.
Police say the driver of the Mercedes will be OK.
