Flasher warning for students in South Huntington

Police are searching for a man who they say exposed himself to two girls near Saint Anthony's High School in South Huntington yesterday.

Officials say the suspect approached the two 11th-grade students as they were walking from the Walt Whitman Mall to school at 4 p.m.

Principal Brother Gary says the girls ran away and called police. He adds that it is possible that the same man is responsible for a similar incident that happened last Thursday when two students reported being followed by a man on Wolf Hill Road.

An email was sent to parents informing them of the incident and reminding students that they are not allowed to leave school property to go to the mall or to a nearby park before or after school.
