Police probe teen's 'suspicious' disappearance

Suffolk police are searching for an 18-year-old man who has been missing for two days, and officials say the homicide squad is helping with the investigation. Police have not yet released many details in the case, but say there are "suspicious circumstances" surrounding the young man's disappearance. This afternoon, police closed off parts of Brook Street in Islip as they focused their search efforts in the wooded area behind Commack Road Elementary School. Neighbors say there's a small lake in the woods. The man's identity has not yet been released and police have not said where he's from. Detectives are said to be resuming their search early tomorrow morning.
