Cops: Man fatally shot in Huntington was targeted before

Police say a 21-year-old man who was fatally shot in Huntington had been shot twice before over the summer. According to investigators, Cory Taylor-Culberth was shot and left for dead yesterday on Cutting Street at around 7:30 p.m. The shooter is still on the loose.

Police say Culberth had also been shot twice in July over a six-day span. Police are still investigating whether all of the shootings are connected.

Police arrested Arthur Ellis, of Greenlawn, in connection with both July shootings. He remains behind bars.

Culberth's aunt, Elaine Robinson, says she raised the victim since he was 2 years old. She says she doesn't know why anyone would target her nephew.

Police say they have no motive for any of the shootings.
