Fundraiser held to help devastated Manorville family

A community came together at a Shirley bowling alley today to help a grieving Manorville husband and father who lost his wife and son in a car accident.

Jason Trinca's wife, Keri, and son, Jason Jr., were killed in the car crash last week. Jason Trinca's two other children, ages 4 and 2, were also in the car but survived. The 2-year-old, Christopher, has been released from the hospital. His sister, 4-year-old Marialena, is battling what doctors are calling serious injuries at Stony Brook Medical Center.

Family members say they will throw more fundraisers, hoping they can ease Jason Trinca's pain as he mourns and prays for his daughter's recovery.
