Nassau legislator was once lawyer for fired campaign worker

News 12 Long Island has learned there may be more to the relationship between Republican Legislator John Ciotti and the campaign worker he recently fired for allegedly making racist remarks. The head of the Nassau Democratic Committee says the relationship between Ciotti and Vincent Prisco - who allegedly made a racist comment toward the sister of Ciotti's opponent, Carrie Solages - dates back 10 years to when Ciotti's law firm represented Prisco. According to court documents, Ciotti's firm represented Prisco for an assault that happened in Garden City. Ciotti does not deny the allegation.
