Cops apprehend man following standoff in Levittown

Cops say a standoff came to an end yesterday at a home in Levittown.

Terrence Escalera will be arraigned today after he was allegedly holed up in a home on Anchor Lane for hours yesterday.

News 12 Long Island has learned Escalera was holding a knife and there were ?numerous? samurai swords in the home.

Investigators believe Escalera attempted to light the house on fire, and then tried to escape onto the roof where he was Tasered.

Escalera?s wife and two young kids got out safely.
