Parents of missing college student issue new plea for help

The parents of a missing college student from Westchester County made a new plea for help today, asking the parents of their daughter's classmates to urge their children to come forward if they know anything.

"As a parent, I know you can understand that we love her very deeply and we long for the moment when we can see her again," says Lauren Spierer's father, Robert.

The plea comes as police are scaling back their efforts to find Spierer, who was last seen June 3 near her apartment in Bloomington, Ind.

However, her parents say they'll stay in Indiana until their daughter is found.

Meanwhile, police returned today to the apartment of Jesse Wolff, Lauren Spierer's boyfriend from Port Washington. Wolff is considered a person of interest in the case.
