Flanders woman accused of mistreating horses

A Flanders woman faces animal cruelty charges for allegedly keeping horses without food or water.

Marie Guerrera, 46, has been charged with three counts of animal cruelty for allegedly mistreating two horses and a pony.

Roy Gross, of the SPCA, says one of the horses was "skin and bones." It was discovered locked in a barn without food or medical care.

The animals have since recovered and been adopted.
