3 armed robberies at 24-hour stores occur in Nassau County

Three armed robberies at 24-hour stores occurred in Nassau County Tuesday morning.

The first store was the Bolla Market in Freeport at 2 a.m. Later that hour, a similar incident played out at 7-Eleven in Valley Stream. Just before 5 a.m., it happened again at another 7-Eleven in East Meadow on Hempstead Turnpike.

Police say they are looking into whether all three robberies are connected. They also say they will be keeping a closer eye on stores that are open 24 hours.

The suspect is described as a white male around 5 feet 5 inches. He was wearing all black and a mask covering part of his face.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
