Police: Eric Gaulin charged in death of Hicksville native Megan Bookstaver last September

The boyfriend of a Hicksville native who was gunned down last year is now being charged in her death.



Megan Bookstaver, 23, was shot and killed in Westchester on Labor Day last September.



Police say she was with her boyfriend, Eric Gaulin, and another man looking at guns. According to investigators, one of them went off and hit her in the head.



Today, the Westchester District Attorney charged Gaulin with manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide.
