Police say a Queens man scammed a Pep Boys store out of $100,000.
According to police, Kevin Thomas replaced the information on the black magnetic strip of credit cards with information from stolen cards.
Thomas then used it at Pep Boys on Hempstead Turnpike in Elmont and Sunrise Highway in Baldwin.
The chain lost over $100,000 in 2012.
Thomas was arrested yesterday at Queens Criminal Court as he was being arraigned on unrelated charges.
Thomas will be charged in Nassau County with grand larceny.
