Hateful graffiti scrawled on wall at Western Beef supermarket in Roosevelt

Police are investigating a disturbing message of hate in Roosevelt.

Residents woke up this morning to find offensive words spray painted on a brick wall outside of Western Beef market on Lakewood Avenue. The message read, "Black put KKK in power to kill God. Kicked black out of heaven."

People in the area were outraged and offended. The store manager says something similar happened a few months ago, and now they plan on installing security cameras.

Workers were out Saturday morning painting over the message.

Anyone with information is being urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
