Time is running out for Superstorm Sandy victims to apply for financial assistance.
The deadline to apply for NY Rising grants is Friday.
As of a few days ago, thousands of Sandy victims still had not applied.
The assistance is a partnership between the city and the nonprofit FEGS Health and Human Services with the goal of helping as many residents as possible before it's too late.
Sandy victims from Long Beach got help applying for the NY Rising Funds today at City Hall. Case managers also went door to door to spread the word.
