65-year-old painting of LI Sound up for auction
A 65-year-old piece of art depicting the landscape of the Long Island Sound will be up for auction. 
The painting was done from the view point of the Cree Club in Locust Valley. 
The painting is set to be auctioned in Philly later this month and was painted by one-time North Shore resident Eric Sloane. 
The painting could sell for as much as $10,000.
