Coram residents spoke out against an annual summertime rodeo during a town hall meeting Tuesday night. They say the event gets too rowdy.
The Rodeo Tierra Cliente is held each summer at the Coram Equestrian Center, attracting large crowds and loud music. Neighbors to the center say the noise level of live music and occasional fights has them wanting the rodeo banned.
The rodeo was scheduled for April 27, but the center is facing several violations which may force its cancellation.
Until the violations are dealt with and the center reapplies for permits, the rodeo will not be held.
