Officials say a fast-moving fire that devoured mobile homes in North Amityville was set intentionally.
According to officials, seven people have been left homeless after the flames ripped through Frontier Trailer Park early last night. The fire started in one trailer and spread to another. No one was hurt.
Officials tell News 12 they are now investigating the fire as arson.
News 12 has previously reported that Babylon Town had approved a developer's plan to build apartments and stores on that property.
The mobile home residents have been fighting the $20,000 offer to move.
