Four people are facing charges after allegedly faking a kidnapping in Nassau County.
Police say Wendy Suprien, Scharday Hilton, Wisard Dextra and Sheyla Diaz called the unidentified victim's family to report the kidnapping. They allegedly demanded $2,000 in ransom.
Officials say the suspects were found at the Econo Lodge in Hicksville Saturday afternoon.
They say drugs were present, but there was no kidnapping victim.
