Cedric Moss accused of running prescription drug ring

A man accused of running a prescription drug ring faced a judge today.

Cedric Moss is accused of heading the ring that distributed 100,000 pills on the East Coast over the past two years. Officials say the pills are worth about $3 million.

Moss' alleged ring is suspected of getting oxycodone from Long Island pharmacies by using forged prescriptions, according to Newsday.

Moss was arrested in February in North Carolina and appeared in court this afternoon in Central Islip.
