A state police investigator and Rocky Point High School assistant lacrosse coach is accused of downloading child pornography.

SeanMichael Pagano was arrested yesterday on child porn charges. Investigators claim Pagano was viewing and downloading pornographic videos involving girls as young as 2 years old. 

However, Pagano claims that as a state investigator, he was involved in the investigation of numerous child porn cases. In addition, Pagano claims he was sent the videos and that he was going to report them.

State officials told the FBI that Pagano "was not authorized to conduct child pornography investigations." 

 

Rocky Point High School says it has dismissed Pagano as a coach, and he has reportedly been suspended without pay from his state job. 

Pagano has been arraigned and is being held without bail. 

If convicted, Pagano faces up to 10 years in prison.
