A Shirley high school student has been accepted to all eight Ivy League schools he applied to.
Kwasi Enin, 17, received acceptance letters from Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, University of Pennsylvania, Princeton and Yale.
Enin, who attends William Floyd High School, scored a 2250 out of 2400 on his SAT exam, placing him in the 99th percentile for students taking the exam. He says his success in school does not hinge on SAT scores.
"I've been really well-rounded when it comes to academics, music, sports," said Enin. "I proved to these schools that each one of those experiences meant a lot to me."
The student tells Newsday he is leaning toward Yale, but still has to make his final decision.
