Weather update: Snow mixing with rain
Snow is mixing with rain this morning, but is expected to clear out in time for the Mets' home opener.
News 12 Long Island Meteorologist Sam Augeri says a coating to a few inches could possibly accumulate in areas. 
Rain, snow showers will taper off this afternoon with increasing sunshine from west to east.
Highs will be near 48 degrees.
