Tentative deal on new state budget could be announced today in Albany

A tentative deal on a new state budget that would include tax relief could soon be announced today in Albany.



News 12 Long Island's Doug Geed is in Albany today to track the budget developments.



State Senate Co-Leader Dean Skelos from Rockville Centre says lawmakers are on the verge of a budget agreement.



He expects a tax freeze and tax cuts to stimulate job creation.



The budget deadline is April 1.
