Tickets for Long Island Ducks games go on sale
It's a sure sign that spring has sprung: tickets for Long Island Ducks games went on sale today.
Fans lined up to score tickets, with some camping out for nearly 30 hours. The Czark family of Setauket were the first in line for tickets at the Bethpage Ballpark in Central Islip. They say it's a yearly tradition to come out to the park.
The team says it is looking to win its third consecutive Atlantic League championship this season.
General Manager Michael Pfaff says it's the overwhelming support from the fans that keeps the players going.
Fans who didn't make it out to get tickets today can order them online. The Ducks' opening night is May 2.
