Woman struck, killed by car in Garden City
A 64-year-old woman was killed after being struck by a car while jogging in Garden City Friday.
The incident occurred on Kensington Road at around 12 p.m.
The driver stayed on the scene and did not face any charges.
Newsday reports that the woman sustained multiple traumas and was pronounced dead at Winthrop-University Hospital in Mineola.
The victim's identity has not yet been released.
