A Bay Shore man was held on $5 million bail after being arraigned in connection with a deadly stabbing.
Wilfredo Flores, 28, is accused of stabbing Carlos Velasquez to death on Pinewood Avenue in Central Islip on Sunday.
Police say a group of good Samaritans held down Flores until police got there.
Velasquez was rushed to the hospital, but did not survive.
Prosecutors revealed that Flores is an undocumented immigrant.
Flores was arraigned on manslaughter charges.
