Students and staff at a Bellmore school are shaving their heads for charity.
The tradition is continuing at Mepham High School for St. Baldrick's Foundation. Students, faculty and community members are participating in "Chop Your Locks."
Participants are either donating eight or more inches of hair to Pantene Pro-V Beautiful Length Campaign or are shaving their heads for the foundation.
The event raises money and shows support for children battling cancer.
Last year, more than $59,000 was raised at the event.
