Louis DiMaria, arrested & later cleared in ‘Flush the Johns’ sting, sues Nassau County

A man who was arrested and subsequently cleared in the "Flush the Johns" sting is suing Nassau County.

Louis DiMaria, 39, was one of more than 100 men arrested last June. His charges were later dismissed.

DiMaria's lawyer claims his client was falsely arrested and imprisoned.

A spokesperson for the DA says charges were dropped as soon as the investigation was complete.

The suit is seeking $5 million plus legal fees.
