Deer Park School District eyes selling building used for before and after school care

The Deer Park schools announced that they are eyeing a plan to sell a building that's used for their before and after school program.
Parents packed last night's school board meeting to oppose the sale of the George Washington School building.
About 200 kids now attend the after-school program and day care center at the former school.
The board says selling the building for senior housing could generate $6.5 million.
The final decision is up to voters in a special referendum.
