The Massapequa man who faked his own drowning to collect life insurance money is facing a judge today in connection to another crime.
Raymond Roth is now being tried on charges of impersonating a police officer, and attempting to kidnap a woman walking down the street in Freeport.

He pleaded guilty to the phony drowning at Jones Beach in 2012.
