Huntington Village fire destroys businesses

Investigators are trying to determine what sparked a fire that destroyed several businesses in Huntington Village Saturday night.
Flames tore through a New York Avenue commercial building, which included offices, a nail salon and an art shop. Firefighters were still on the scene Sunday morning, putting out hot spots.
Fire officials say the blaze broke out on the second floor of the commercial complex at around 7 p.m.
The flames prompted 70 people to be evacuated from Red, a restaurant next door. There were no injuries reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but authorities say it is not considered suspicious.
