Court dismisses suit in East End deer culling case

A State Supreme Court has dismissed the suit filed by the Wildlife Preservation Coalition of Eastern Long Island to stop deer culling on the East End.

It is not clear if the group will appeal the decision, since Southold officials say the deer cull will begin shortly.

Sharpshooters are set to shoot up to 1,000 deer.
