The snow has stopped, but meteorologists say the freezing temperatures will continue across Long Island.
Snow totals from the storm overnight ranged from a coating to 1 inch, with some spots on the south seeing 2 inches.
News 12 Long Island Meteorologist Rich Hoffman says to expect breezy and cold conditions with wind chills of 5 to 15 degrees. Highs are expected to be near 24 degrees for the rest of the day.
For tonight, the low is expected to reach near 9 degrees.
The record low temperature was 5 degrees set in 2009.
