Ivey Dixon charged in attack on NICE bus driver Keisha McGregor in Franklin Square

The woman accused of attacking a NICE bus driver was charged with assault Thursday at the Nassau County District Court in Hempstead.
Police say Ivey Dixon, 27, attacked driver Keisha McGregor in Franklin Square earlier this week after McGregor didn't let her off at an unscheduled stop. The entire attack was caught on cellphone video by another passenger and other witnesses say Dixon had her young daughter with her.
McGregor was joined by a dozen other Nassau bus drivers in court Thursday to call for additional security for bus drivers, including security partitions and additional cameras.
The MTA is already adding additional security on NYC buses in response to attacks on MTA bus drivers.
