Cops: Oxycodone ring busted in Elmont

Police say they have busted a large oxycodone ring and now two Elmont residents have been arrested.

Deidreanne Dopwell and Joshua Lewis surrendered to federal agents yesterday, according to Newsday.

Investigators say the pair got 100,000 pills over two years by forging prescriptions. Both were released on bail.

The alleged mastermind of the ring from Queens and another man were arrested Friday.
