Pedro Hernandez accused of DWI in Smithtown
Officials say two people were seriously hurt after an alleged drunk driver slammed into their car in Smithtown.
The incident occurred yesterday morning on Route 347. 
Police say Pedro Hernandez was driving drunk and going the wrong way when he slammed into a Corolla with two people inside. 
The people were rushed to the hospital and Hernandez was seriously hurt.
