Police are searching for the teen who allegedly attempted to hold up a Valley Stream restaurant.
Police say a teen approached the owner of Kim Won Chinese Kitchen on Merrick Road Saturday night at around 10:45 p.m.
The teen allegedly displayed a knife and demanded cash, but fled on foot when the owner refused.
The suspect is described as a 16-year-old male who is around 5 feet 5 inches tall with a thin build.
