The former Farmingville man accused in the death of a corrections officer has pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
Anthony Oddone admitted to choking Anthony Reister during an altercation in 2008 at a Southampton's Publick House, where Reister was working as a bouncer. He later died of cardiac arrest.
Oddone will be sentenced to just over five years, which will amount to time served.
A formal sentence is expected next month.
